An idea I got when I accidentally filled Korra’s skin tone in on one of the boys. A dumb AU where Bolin and Mako were from the water tribe and Korra is a probender??
Bolin’s the Avatar and overprotective big bro Mako joins the White Lotus so they can stay together. Skip ahead a few years and they runaway to Republic City and meet Korra, a overzealous fire bender trying to scrap together a pro bending team. Stuff happens etcetc they become bros etcetc.
This is really dumb laughs but I had to finish these sketches somehow.

/look at those character redesigns they fill me with glee especially Korra’s top, HOT
Korra and Asami, dancing in a club in Republic City. I love thinking about this setting and the characters and their connection to each other in this setting.
I listen to several fitting music pieces while drawing this, for example this and this.
